[T]ravel blogger and writer Zoe Dawes The Quirky Traveller was featured on BBC Breakfast this morning to discuss travel in 2018.

Zoe, who hails from Carnforth is an international travel blogger with a social media following of over 300,000 across her Quirky Traveller social media platforms.

Zoe spoke about the current deals on offer to consumers and stated that they are some are the best she has seen for a number of years, she also encouraged people looking for bargains to consider Eastern Europe non-EU countries and Africa as the exchange rates are currently working in British travellers favour there.

Zoe has spoken on BBC Breakfast twice before and says “It’s always a fun experience being on television and I’m delighted the BBC asked me to share my thoughts. Travel and holidays are at the forefront on everyone’s mind in January, people need something to look forward to. Holiday operators are keen to get guaranteed bookings under their belt especially with the uncertainty surrounding Brexit amongst other factors. Be prepared to bargain where you can and for families and larger groups it’s a great time to book.”

Zoe works with large and small businesses including many Lake District tourist business as well as international companies to help them showcase their offerings across her blogs and social media. Regarded as an expert in Tourism she will also be judging the Cumbria Family Business Awards and was on the panel of Taste Lancashire and a judge on the Lancashire Tourism Awards.
