[P]olice are investigating a residential burglary on Duke Street, Whitehaven, which occurred on Monday 1st January at 12:10am.
A male suspect entered an insecure property and stole a Samsung Galaxy s5 mobile phone.
The suspect was disturbed by the occupier of the premises and made off from the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 5’7 tall and of slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured hat with lines on, black puffa jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black Nike Air Max trainers.
Police would like to speak with witnesses.
