Woman in 40s assaulted in Barrow

A woman in her 40s has been assaulted in Barrow

The incident took place on Schneider Road, across from the playing field and near to the roundabout, Saturday May 23 at around 4.40pm.

During the incident the woman was assaulted by a man, who was known to her.

The victim did not suffer any injuries as a result of the assault.

The man, aged approximately 45 years-old, was was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a multi-coloured sports top, a black baseball cap. He was also wearing a small black man bag over his shoulder.

The woman in her 40s was wearing white trainers, white shorts, a white cardigan and a white crop top.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any other information which may assist officer to come forward.
