[M]EP Paul Nuttall has described Jeremy Corbyn’s speech about the EU today (Mon) as a “betrayal of the British public.”
Mr Nuttall, UKIP Euro-MP for the North West, said: “Labour’s policy shift is a deliberate attempt to sabotage Brexit and will make a difficult situation even harder.
“He says that his party respects the result of the referendum but I do not believe they respect it at all as they actually do not want us to leave the European Union.
“He talks of striking a new customs deal with the EU at the end of the transition period but he is deluding himself is he thinks he will be able to get exemptions from their competition and state aid rules.
“Labour want to nationalise the water and railway industries as well as Royal Mail but that flies in the face of Brussels ethos and he is just fooling himself but he can’t fool the majority of voters.”
