[T]wo men have been charged following an armed robbery.
Police were called yesterday (9th April), at 6:35am, to the report of a member of staff being threatened by two men with a Stanley Knife at McColls Newsagents, Church Road, Harrington.
No one was hurt during the incident.
David Wallace, 34, of Poole Road, Workington, and Kevin Glover, 34, also of Poole Road, Workington, have both been charged with Robbery.
They appeared in Workington Magistrates court this morning and were remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on the 8th May.
