[P]olice are investigating a public order incident at Aldi on Risedale Road in Barrow.
The incident occurred at 5:40pm on Friday 29 June.
A man described as 5’11” tall, stocky build with cropped light hair, topless, wearing grey shorts, with tattoos on his legs was seen leaving the store in the direction of Roose Road after being abusive to customers and threatening staff members who had asked him to leave the store.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 30-year-old man from Carlisle was arrested on suspicion of causing intentional harassment, alarm and distress contrary to Sec. 4a of the Public Order Act 1986.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident or anyone with information to contact Cumbria Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting Log 274 of 29 June.
