[A]t 2:38am today, Sunday 12 August firefighters were called to reports of the hand car wash on fire at Maryport Railway Station.
Five fire engines from Maryport, Workington, Aspatria, Cockermouth and Carlisle attended, along with an aerial appliance and the joint incident command unit.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews used two main jets, four hose reels, two ground monitors and the aerial appliance to extinguish the fire, which took around four hours.
“An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.”
