POLICE are continuing to work hard to tackle antisocial behaviour in the Brampton area.
Last week (22 Aug), a Criminal Behaviour Order was secured against a 16-year-old from Brampton who behaved in a consistently aggressive, threatening and violent manner in Brampton.
Carlisle Magistrates’ Youth Court made the order which bans the teenage boy from entering Brampton town centre or Brampton Co-op for a year and not to contact a named person who had been the victim of harassment.
“He has also been given a Youth Rehabilitation Order which includes a curfew for 12 weeks from 7pm to 7am, as well as a supervision requirement.
PC Sam Butler said: “We are listening to the community and taking action to reduce antisocial behaviour.
“Our message is that antisocial behaviour can have an extremely negative impact on a community and will not be tolerated.”
