Dunmail Park Shopping Centre held a birthday party, complete with a special guest and fun games, on Saturday 15th September to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

A character from children’s favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was meeting and greeting young visitors, and shoppers took part in a game of Pass the Parcel. CFM were also in the shopping centre getting everyone in the mood to party by playing 80s music and hosting fun games to win prizes, including a 1980s fashion challenge.

The day ended with a balloon drop where shopping centre visitors were invited to search for 10 balloons that contained a golden ticket, which was then exchanged for £30.

Mr Donald Dixon, Managing Director of J Dixon & Son Ltd, owners of Dunmail Park, commented: “Dunmail Park has certainly gone through a lot of changes since it opened its doors in 1988, but we have always remained a community focused shopping centre. We were therefore delighted to celebrate the 30th anniversary with local people and we hope everyone enjoyed the fun and games that took place in the centre.”
