The Glenmore Trust is a local charitable organisation based in the North of Cumbria that has been providing support to adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions and other associated needs for over 30 years.

The Trust recently had a CQC – Care Quality Commission inspection which recognised the organisation as being “Outstanding” in response to the personalised work it undertakes with the individuals they support.

Denise Jarman, Chief Executive Officer is delighted that as an organisation such a prestigious rating has been obtained. She said: “This is a significant achievement for our Domiciliary Care Service and quite rare. I cannot express enough how proud we are of all of the staff teams for their hard work, dedication and commitment to the vulnerable people we support.”

Steven Bowditch, Chair of The Management Committee went on to say; “I have been involved with the Glenmore Trust for over 25 years and being able to say that we are regarded as a distinguished care organisation by CQC, which follows on from our 30th anniversary celebrations last year is absolutely wonderful.”
