Two arrested after man attacked in Carlisle

Police are appealing for witnesses to a reported confrontation involving three men at Dukes Drive, Kingmoor Park North, Carlisle.

The incident occurred at about 2.15pm yesterday (June 12) and during it one of the men was reported to be assaulted.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The men all left this area in a blue Ford Fiesta.

“Two men, both aged 22 and of Carlisle, were quickly arrested on suspicion of offences including assault.

“They remain in custody today.

“The man reported to be assaulted was not injured.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident to contact officers on 101, referring to log 117 of June 12.
