On Thursday, 27th June 2019, between 4pm and 6pm, Carlisle College is opening its doors to welcome potential future students and their families to their third Open Day of the year.

It’s a great way to find out about student life at Carlisle College, choose the right course and apply for it straight away. It’s also the perfect opportunity to see the multi-million pound facilities, such as the £5.3m Carlisle College of the Arts which houses top of the range media editing suites and rehearsal rooms, the motor vehicle workshop which boats 7 ramps with all the latest equipment and MOT Test bay.

Visitors have the chance to talk directly to course tutors from all subject areas. The College has over 100 courses available from entry level through to degrees ranging from teaching, plumbing, accountancy to health and social care to name but a few. These include a wide range of Diploma Courses which are worth up to 3 A-Levels and provide a perfect alternative to school sixth form, allowing you to specialise in your chosen subject area and progress onto university – in fact we have over 200 students applying to university through UCAS each year.

We also give advice and guidance for those who want to earn while they learn with our extensive range of Apprenticeships. We are working with over 350 leading employers in the local area, helping over 300 students a year to secure apprenticeships in a variety of subject areas including construction, business and accounting.

A team of highly qualified staff will be on hand to offer top tips on how to realise your career ambitions and find the right course for you and offer advice on the financial support that maybe available to you.

Go for it! To secure a place on a course for September 2019, applications can be made on the College website www.carlisle.ac.uk or at the open evening.
