A driver has lost his license after he was caught driving without insurance and under the influence of drugs.
William Procter, 31, of Rusland admitted to driving without insurance and while over the prescribed limit for a controlled drug, cocaine on the 19th June 2019 at South Cumbria Magistrates.
On Thursday 31st December 2018 at approximately 1:45am an officer stopped a Mini Cooper on Millan Park, Ambleside when he observed it failing to comply with a give way controlled junction
Checks found Proctor held no valid insurance to drive the vehicle, Road side tests showed Proctor was over the drug-driving limit and was arrested.
He was given a 12 month driving disqualification and fined £859.
