Tickets now available to Picnic Cinema’s rescheduled screenings of Bohemian Rhapsody and Beetlejuice on 23rd & 24th August.
Originally set to take place at Muncaster Castle, the sold out screenings were postponed due to bad weather on 9th & 10th August. The events have now been rescheduled to a new venue, surrounded by mountains in the heart of the eskdale valley (the site where Eskfest takes place) near the Woolpack Inn, Hardknott Pass.
The full Picnic Cinema experience includes dressing up, camping over and letting your hair down – or your inner front man shine, and are much more than outdoor cinema. The evening involves audience games, quizzes, interviews and music before the main screening. The Woolpack Inn will be on hand serving up takeaway pizzas and other treats to Picnic Cinema audiences, along with their regular bar and breakfast offerings.
Bryoney Cartlidge from Picnic Cinema commented ‘we worked really hard to get the events rescheduled in a timely manner and we’re pleased to find such a great new site at short notice – This is our final gig of the season which always makes it more special and as Freddie himself would say; the show must go on!. We have re-released some tickets for people to join us over the bank holiday weekend which are now available on the Picnic Cinema website.’
Join the North’s No.1 Outdoor Cinema this weekend. Tickets start at £15 for entertainment and film to £25 including camping.
