Two people have been treated by paramedics after a water boiler exploded at a property in Stainton near Penrith.
Residents reported hearing an ‘explosion’ at a bungalow on St John’s Road.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “At around 6.20pm this evening (6th Jan) police were called to a report of a water boiler explosion at a house in Stainton.
“Police, fire, and ambulance attended the scene and two occupants of the address were treated by paramedics.
“No serious injuries have been reported.”
