Two arrested after Carlisle dangerous driving incident

Police are investigating an incident of dangerous driving which occurred on the evening of 9th June 2020 near to Mcdonald’s, Kingstown, Carlisle.

Around 8:30pm to 9:30pm it’s alleged the driver of a silver Mercedes has attempted to ram a vehicle off the road. The driver is said to be a male in his early 20’s.

Police are investigating a linked incident where the driver of a silver Mercedes has reported being rammed off the road in the Todhills area around 9:30pm on the same day.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Two men have been arrested in relation to these incidents, a 56-year-old man from Carlisle has been released on bail however a 25-year-old man remains in police custody for questioning at this time.”

Witnesses or those with information are asked to contact the police on 101, email [email protected] or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and quote log 207 of 9th June 2020
