Carlisle College are inviting potential future students to find out about life at Carlisle College at their upcoming virtual open day being held on Thursday 25th June between 11am-7pm.
Due to the current social distancing measures in place across the UK, the open day and advice session, which would traditionally be held in the multi-million pound facilities of the college, will this time be held online. The virtual open day will provide potential future students with the opportunity to find out more about studying at Carlisle College, gain an insight into the different courses and Apprenticeships available and provide the opportunity to ask tutors any questions that they may have.
A number of subject related sessions will be running throughout the day and future students along with their families are invited to join as many sessions as they like to ensure that they are able to explore all of their options for September 2020, and to ensure they can find the right course for them. Applications are open on the Carlisle College website, to secure a place on a course for September 2020.

For example, at a recent validation of our degree level Computing courses, the College was commended for having a clear and coherent strategy which enables students to study in the local area to support the economy, with tutors who have a passion for their curriculum area.
“We are also able to offer a safe and supportive environment which enables everyone to work and study to the best of their ability. We would welcome you to join us at the virtual open day where you can find out more in a dedicated session on University Level study.”
Andy Dodds, Director at Carlisle College, said “In these unprecedented times it is important that potential students are still able to access advice and guidance which will allow them to realise their career ambitions.
Students can really make it at Carlisle College, whether that is to go to University, gain an Apprenticeship or go into employment. All of the courses at Carlisle College prepare students for their next step and we would encourage everyone to join us at our virtual open day, from the safety of their own home, to find out what the College has to offer.”
