It’s your last chance to grab tickets for a fabulous charity concert organised by Andy Park.

Music man Andy is raising cash for Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary Cancer Centre and has organised the event for Friday July 24 with Chris Hogg at the Garden of Eden in Crosby-on-Eden, both of whom have personal reasons for supporting the centre.

And they say it promises to be the hottest event of the summer.

With a drinks reception, three-course dinner and fabulous cabaret – it’s a night not to be missed.

The event, sponsored by Stanwix Park, will feature the sensational sounds of The Four Ds, madness and magic from Liam Moorhouse and top sounds from Cumbria’s’ favourite vocalist Nikki.

Tickets are £60 and are available via [email protected]

All proceeds will go to the cancer centre.

Andy thanked Stanwix Park for its support of the event.

So far, Andy has raised over £25,000 for the cancer centre from the sale of his two books – Centre Stage and Cumbria’s Music Man.

Centre Stage looks back at the vibrant live music scene of the 1960s, drawing on his popular Andy’s Pop Talk column from the Carlisle Journal .

Today, he still runs Andy Park Promotions having recently celebrated it’s 50th birthday as Cumbria’s only professional entertainment agency.

Cumbria’s Music Man is his memoir and takes the reader on his journey from DJ, columnist to dance hall promoter and the time when Carlisle was second only to Liverpool for gigs in the 1970s and 1980s.

Both books are available to buy, with all proceeds going to the cancer centre, from https://www.andyparkpromotions.co.uk/andy-park-book

Andy said: “The Cumberland Infirmary cancer centre means a great deal to me. My wife has received chemotherapy treatment there for a number of years, so giving something back felt like the right thing to do.

“This is a way of saying thank you.”
