Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery that occurred at around 2.25pm yesterday (16th June) around the area of Gilsland road, Carlisle.
A man was assaulted by another man, during the incident gold jewellery was taken.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The man who was assaulted suffered minor injuries.
“Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a man described as being in his mid-40’s, white, approximately 5ft 10ins, stocky build, with dark receding wavy hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and dark coloured joggers.”
