Police are investigation a road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 9.50pm on Monday (22nd June) on Millstone Avenue, Ormsgill.
A black BMW 530D collided with a building, no one was injured.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A male, aged 30, from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention and being over the prescribed limit of Cannabis. He has now been released under investigation.”
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or the vehicle prior to the incident, or anyone with dashcam footage of the vehicle to contact PC 2772 Bywood on 101 quoting log 240 of 22nd June 2020 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
