Police are investigating an assault that occurred in the wooded area by Whitehaven football club on Sunday 11th October at around 6pm.
The victims are a group of teenage boys and a teenage girl, and the offenders are believed to be a group of teenage boys.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 15-year-old boy from Whitehaven has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released under investigation.”
