Police are investigating the incidents of assault, criminal damage and harassment that occurred over a 10-day period between at Sunday the 18th October and Wednesday 28th October 2020 on Jacktrees Crescent, Cleator Moor.

It has been reported that a group of youths, approximately five in total, described as having been all dressed in black and covering their faces with masks and hoodies, have attended Jacktrees Crescent and targeted one address on the street.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Over the ten-day period they have thrown items at the house and shouted abuse towards the people inside.

“On Wednesday the 28th the group smashed the windows of the address with a brick which hit one of the residents in the face, causing a facial injury.

“Officers are aware of on-going issues of anti-social behaviour in the Cleator Moor and Egremont and are actively targeting the area.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PC 2636 Simpson on 101, quoting incident number 222 of the 22nd October.  Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
