Four charged with wounding with intent

Carlisle Magistrates Court

TWO Carlisle men and two women have appeared before North and West Cumbria Magistrates Court charged with wounding with intent.

The allegation relates to an incident on 15 December, 2019 in Carlisle.

The allegation is the four defendants unlawfully and maliciously wounded Shane Jessamine with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.

Miss Jodie Liddell, 26, of Lund Crescent, Trevor Ralph Liddell, 52, of Petteril Street, Charlie Mallam, 25, of London Road and Miss Jade Ruya Quinn, 27, of Newtown Road Carlisle appeared individually in the dock of court number one.

This alleged offence is indictable only and can only be heard by a Crown Court Judge.

The four-defendants were granted conditional bail and will appear at Carlisle Crown Court on December 18.

No plea to the allegation from the defendants was required during today’s hearing.
