Following new lines of inquiry officers are appealing for information into assault that is reported to have occurred on Hindpool Road, Barrow, on 30th September.
The investigations follows a video that was sent to officers of the incident which is believed to have involved six women.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Enquiries have been made to identify those involved and officers are now appealing for anyone with information or who might have witnessed the incident.”
