Ice warning for Cumbria

By Becky Goodwin

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for ice today.

It says outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow should have cleared in the early hours of today, but some showers will affect the coast.

Where skies are clear, icy stretches are likely to form on untreated surfaces.

Weather forecasts say it is likely to be -4 degrees at 8am, rising to 0 degrees at noon and rising to 3 degrees by 8pm.
