Police appeal after pedestrian breaks leg in road traffic collision

Police are appealing for information after a female pedestrian broke her leg in a road traffic collision in Barrow. 

The incident occurred at around 10.15am yesterday outside the Co-op on Ainslie Street and involved a red Audi.

The woman, from south Cumbria, is in her 60s.

The driver of the Audi was uninjured.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with dash cam footage to get in touch.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 49 of 11 January. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
