Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of dogs being reportedly out of control in Cockermouth.
Following new lines of inquiry, officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward who were in the area of Castlegate Drive at around 11.30am on December 28.
It was reported that three dogs described as similar to lurchers attacked a walker and his dog.
The dog owner suffered minor injuries.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage in the vicinity of Castlegate Drive.
