Two Eden men are to appear in court tomorrow charged with arson after they allegedly set fire to stables at the under-threat Newton Rigg College, near Penrith.
The men, aged 19 and 20, are each charged with arson at the Askham Bryan College-operated campus on July 21 when they set fire to stables causing £233.50 damage.
They are also charged with two offences of criminal damage at the college where they are accused of damaging a yurt’s kitchen door and door to the equine arena.
They are set to appear at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
