Nearly £10,000 has been spent completely revamping a Lake District hotel.
Lake District Hotels have spent the money on the Kings Arms courtyard, based just off Keswick’s Market Square.
The outside refurbishment included new lighting, a complete resurfacing of the underfoot terrain and the purchase of sturdy parasols.
The hotel reopened to diners last Monday in line with the Government roadmap.
