Cumbria Libraries will be distributing 160 copies of a book to local charities and organisations to inspire the people of Cumbria to discover, or rediscover, the joy of reading.
Stories to Make You Smile – a selection of feelgood stories written by authors including Jenny Éclair, Katie Fforde, Veronica Henry and Rachel Hore, will be provided to Cumbria Libraries from World Book Night organisers.
World Book Night takes place on April 23 and is now in its 10th year.
