Missing Cocker Spaniel Jojo

An urgent appeal has been launched to help find a nine-month-old Cocker Spaniel who has gone missing.

Jojo snapped her lead and bolted yesterday afternoon on Green Gable and ran towards Great Gable.

West Cumbria Missing Person and Animal Search and Rescue say she may be in the Wasdale or Ennerdale areas.

A team of 15 volunteers from the group will be out looking for the puppy today and will be using thermal imaging cameras.
“She went missing on a walk yesterday, she will be quite scared,” said Chris Davidson, part of the search and rescue team.
“She is only nine months old and she won’t know the area very well. She is not used to this.”

Cumbria Constabulary has also been alerted.
Anyone who sees Jojo is asked not to approach or chase her and not to shout. If Jojo is spotted, people are asked to call 07704 721 650.
