Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and his spaniel were bitten by a pitbull-type dog in Barrow.
The man and his black and white spaniel were walking on Ship Street at around 8.10am on Wednesday.
It is alleged that a dog, described as a tan American pitbull bit the pair. The man suffered minor injuries.
A woman, described as white, 5ft 7in, with ginger hair and wearing multi-coloured jogging bottoms was walking the tan dog along with a grey dog of a similar description.
