Parts of a Carlisle play area will be closed from Monday to allow improvement work to take place.
Worn out equipment at the area on Hunters Crescent, Garlands, will be replaced and new rubber surfacing will be installed.
The Carlisle City Council scheme has been funded by local developer contributions and will involve replacing the swings, seesaw and spring rockers.
To allow the work to take place, part of the play area will be closed to the public from Monday for the new equipment to be installed.
Once this has been completed the whole site will closed for short time to allow the surfacing work to take place.
The work is expected to take around two weeks.
