Barrow Town Hall

Barrow’s town hall is set to reopen to the public.

Customers will be able to book a time slot if they need support or to discuss an essential matter from June 21.

Measures relating to social distancing and COVID security will remain in place in line with government guidance.

Customers are asked to note that:

  • Appointments must be made by calling the appropriate number from the list below.
  • Slots will be available between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
  • Customers should arrive on time, but will not be allowed entry to the building until the time of their appointment.
  • No walk-in appointments will be available and customers who turn up without a timed slot will be asked to return home and book in advance.

A spokeswoman for Barrow Borough Council said: “We are very pleased to be able to welcome members of the public back into the town hall from June 21.

“Initially, we will be operating on a strict appointment-only basis, and appointments will only be made available to customers who we are unable to help over the telephone or online.

“In due course, we will extend the in-person services we are able to offer, in line with government guidance, with the ultimate goal of returning to business as usual.”
