Reigning ARL champions Distington earned their first win of the new Holman Iggesund Cumberland ARL season.
A few eyebrows were raised when they were held to a draw by Ellenborough at the weekend.
But second time out they made no mistake, beating Seaton 48-10.
Seaton had opened their campaign with a close win over Glasson Rangers but they never looked capable of matching that result at Distington.
They trailed 16-0 at the break and did not get on the score-sheet until the 65th minute, by which time the game had gone from them.
Jack Penrice had put the hosts ahead after just seven minutes with an unconverted try and four minutes later Phil Lister crossed for the second, which was converted by Clayton Sutton.
It stayed at 10-0 until the 32nd minute when Penrice went in for his second try and Sutton added the extras.

Three more tries in the third quarter of the game made sure the points were going to the home side. Gavin Martin scored two unconverted tries and in between Jamie Friel skipped over for a try which was converted by Sutton.
Facing a 30-0 deficit Seaton rallied and on 65 minutes Jon Karl Benson scored a try which was converted by Nicky Burgess.
Then three tries in six minutes powered Distington almost to the half century mark. Friel, Scott George and Scott Rooke scored the tries, all converted by Sutton.
But Seaton did have the final word with an unconverted try from Levi Wallbanks in the last minute.
