Cumbria’s final group game in the NCA Trophy at Netherfield today against Shropshire was abandoned through rain.
The point for each side means that Cumbria will still top the group and have a home tie in the quarter finals.
They had won all their previous matches in the group against Cheshire, Staffordshire and Northumberland to ensure their place in the last eight.
They were going well in the final encounter and had Shropshire struggling at 96-6 when the rain intervened and the game was called off.
The quarter final game will be played at Barrow on Sunday, July 18. Cumbria are waiting to find their opponents.
