A Kendal man was injured after an assault in Ambleside.
Police are probing the incident which took place at about 7.20pm on Thursday near Market Cross.
The incident involved two men.
A 45-year-old man from Kendal suffered minor injuries.
The second man is described as white, in his 40s, wearing a pink polo shirt. He was driving a grey Vauxhall Corsa.
