Cumbria have a quick opportunity to make amends for their opening NCA Championship defeat against Northumberland.
The county is back in action this weekend away to Bedfordshire in the three-day game which is being played at the Flitwick club.
Cumbria make two changes from the side beaten by 98 runs at home to Northumberland.
Gary Pratt comes back to lead the side while Haverigg’s Drew Postlethwaite is brought in as wicket-keeper batsman to replace Tom Benn.
Jonathan Davidson, twelfth man against Northumberland also drops out of the squad.
The 12 named are: Gary Pratt (Richmondshire, capt), Ben Davidson (Carlisle), Nathan Waterston (Furness), Michael Slack (Carlisle), Sam Dutton (Blackpool), Matthew Sempill (Cockermouth), Paul Hindmarch (Cockermouth), Drew Postlethwaite (wk, Haverigg), Sam Sharp (Cockermouth), Matthew Lowden (Workington), Matthew Siddall (Blackpool), Nico Watt (Wigton).
But there’s a warning to Cumbria – the Bedfordshire tail wags!
In the drawn match with Hertfordshire they were 139-8 in the first innings but the last three batsmen George Darlow(88), Jack Fuller (53)and Tom Brett (16no) got them to 307.
In their opening game at home to Buckinghamshire, it needed a rear guard action to earn them a draw after being on the back foot for most of the game.
