After a somewhat disappointing weekend at Brands Hatch last week, Kendal rider Brad Perie ventured south to Thruxton to what is known as the fastest circuit of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship.
Race One on Saturday was hotly contested but Perie nailed it, thanks to a slick move on the penultimate lap, winning him the race.
The podium was still warm and this, his fourth win of the season put him, albeit briefly, back in the lead of the Championship.
On Sunday, Race Two saw the heavens open, but Perie finished in a respectable sixth place gaining crucial points.
Now in second place in the overall Championship, Perie is hot to trot for the fifth round in two weeks’ time at Donington Park.
