English Touring Theatre in partnership with Theatre by the Lake and Northern Stage present

Trailer Story

Trailer Story is a four-day festival of spoken word, theatre and comedy brought to you on a touring truck.

Enjoy a weekend-long programme of outdoor events celebrating our nation’s diversity, resilience and community with performances and workshops in National Trust’s Crow Park in Keswick.

Tickets are now on sale for this unique experience.

Performances will be housed in a touring truck, usually used to tour production sets around the country, but reimagined as a space for artists and audiences to meet.

Featuring a diverse range of artists and acts from across the country, the festival includes workshops, plays, comedy, spoken word events, beatboxing and even an astrology bingo session.

The programme also features an afternoon showcase platform for local artists and several interactive activities including A Rain Walk and a Story Trail.

Several shows are suitable for families with small children, alongside shows with more challenging and thought-provoking themes.

Grouped into morning, afternoon and evening slots, events can be unlocked through festival passes available from Theatre by the Lake.

Passes are available at £5 each. Each pass unlocks two or more events and activities. Tickets sold in socially distanced bubbles.

Full programme and schedule of events can be found at www.theatrebythelake.com/trailer
