A Carlisle road closed after a two-vehicle collision has reopened, police said.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area of Shaddongate and Bridge Street earlier this morning as emergency services dealt with the collision.
The incident happened at the traffic lights at the junction of the streets.
Shaddongate was blocked to traffic wishing to travel eastbound towards Castle Way.
But police said the area was cleared and the road is now open.
