Fire crews have rescued a person from a house fire in Barrow.
Three fire engines from Barrow and Ulverston were called to the incident at a home on Talisman Close at about 1.20pm on Wednesday.
Firefighters rescued one casualty, using six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one safety jet.
Firefighters also administered oxygen therapy on scene, and one casualty was passed on to the care of North West Ambulance Service.
Crews were in attendance for approximately 30 minutes.
