The timings for the annual Remembrance Sunday parades in Harrington and Workington have now been confirmed.
Remembrance Sunday in Harrington & Workington, 2018

The timings for the annual Remembrance Sunday parades in Harrington and Workington have now been confirmed.

Harrington

The parade in Harrington will assemble at 9.30am at the Royal British Legion building on Salterbeck Road and will be led by Parade Marshal, Sgt Ross Murphy. The parade will continue to St Mary’s Church on Rectory Close for a service at 10am led by Reverend Julia Powley.

Workington

The Workington parade will assemble at 1.45pm on Pow Street and will be led by Parade Marshall, Sgt Ross Murphy. The parade will then set off at 2pm and continue to Vulcan Park for the service at the Cenotaph which will be led by Reverend Julia Powley, The Mayor’s Chaplain.

Following the service at the Cenotaph, the parade will continue to St Michael’s Church for the final service of the day led by the Very Reverend Dr Francis Ward at about 3pm.
