A community centre is to hold a Christmas craft and gift fair.
Brampton Community Centre is holding a Christmas Craft & Gift Fair on November 21 between 10am and 4pm at the community centre on Union Lane, Brampton.
With over 40 confirmed stalls, the event will showcase local traders, producers and crafters from Brampton and surrounding areas.
Community Centre Manager, James Burke said: “We will have lots of interesting unique one-off stalls selling a wide variety of Christmas gifts from jewellery, arts and crafts, gin and wines to homemade cakes and preserves – so there will be something for everyone on the day.
“Food and drink will also be available to purchase – once you’re all shopped-out – in our pop-up café where visitors will be able to relax and enjoy a hot drink and sample some delicious homemade cakes and mince pies.
“Visitors will also have the opportunity to win some great prizes on our Christmas raffle stall.
“We also wanted to make sure that the event is family-friendly, so there will also be some outdoor attractions for the kids to enjoy, including a bungee trampoline and bouncy castle. Just make sure your little ones are wrapped up warm.
“Proceeds from the event will help support the community centre in furthering our work within the local community.”
In addition to the fair, organisations including Brampton Acting Together (B.A.T.), Citizen’s Advice (Carlisle and Eden) and Cumbria Healthwatch will also be on hand to offer visitors advice and information on how to stay well this winter and will be on hand to offer any advice if you are struggling financially.
