Cumbria’s first ever whisky festival to take place in Kendal next weekend.
The festival, on December 3 and December 4, will take place at Kendal Town Hall.
The festival is being organised by Phil Walker, landlord of The New Union pub in Kendal, and Dave Pennington, director of Kendal-based coffee and tea merchants Penningtons.
A total of 41 distilleries and brands from around the world will be showcasing their whisky, with the main sponsor of the event being the UK arm of Mackmyra Swedish Whisky.
Phil Walker said: “I’m so excited to be hosting the first ever Kendal Whisky Festival, showcasing famous whisky from across the globe.”
