Officers responding to reports of concerns for the welfare of a woman in Keswick are appealing for further information.
Police received a call at 5.07pm today following concerns for a woman who was described as being in distress, near to the Theatre by the Lake.
Officers have conducted extensive searches of the area, however have yet to locate a woman matching the description provided.
The woman is described as being aged in early 20s, of slim build and was wearing a hat. She was also carrying a backpack and a torch.
Officers are concerned for this person’s welfare and are appealing for any further witnesses to get in touch.
Officers also directly appeal to this woman to contact them to let know if she is ok or needs further support.
