The site where a man was killed after a tree fell on him in AmblesideA posy nestles in a tree in Ambleside as a tribute to the man killed during Storm Arwen.
The touching tribute in Rothay Park was placed there this morning after it was revealed that the man, from Lancaster, died after a tree fell on him.
Emergency services were called to Vicarage Road at 11pm yesterday.
Cumbria police has yet to issue any updates on the incident.
He was the second man to die during the storm. Headteacher Francis Lagan was killed when a tree fell on his car in Antrim, Northern Ireland.
