Oak Tree Animals’ Charity has thanked local businesses for generously donating prizes for its Christmas draw.

Oak Tree Animals’ Charity has thanked local businesses for generously donating prizes for its Christmas draw.

All money raised as a result will help support the work of this local charity.

There is still time to buy your tickets for the Christmas Grand Draw – but don’t delay – the deadline is midnight on December 12!

Prizes up for grabs this year:

  • Classic Car Experience donated by Nithsdale Stories and Wheels! The winner gets a customised tour of Dumfries and Galloway in a Classic Car. The journey includes a picnic, free entry to two major destinations, plenty of photo opportunities, and more!
  • Two-night stay and breakfast for two, in Lancrigg Hotel & Restaurant, Grasmere.
  • Overnight stay with full Cumberland breakfast for two, in Heads Nook Hall, Heads Nook.
  • Beauty treatment, including cut, colour and gel nails from Angel Hair Studio, Carlisle.
  • Digital portrait of your beloved pet, by Spotty Dog Days.

Other prizes include:

  • Oak Tree Behind the Scenes Tour and Tearoom Voucher
  • Pink Peter Rabbit Hamper
  • Festive Food & Gift Hamper

Tickets can be bought online via www.oaktreeanimals.org.uk/events or paper tickets can be bought from their reception in Wetheral Shields and in their shops.

Oak Tree’s Fundraising Officer, Lulu Parsons, urges people to buy tickets: “We are very fortunate to have such a great selection of prizes thanks to the fantastic local Cumbrian businesses supporting us. Every single ticket bought is a vital £1 towards helping animals here in Cumbria. Thank you to everyone who has already purchased tickets and good luck in the draw!”

Winners will be announced on Oak Tree’s Facebook page on December 21 and contacted by the team later that day.

The Oak Tree team continues to work hard to continue supporting the community by offering support and advice, ensuring pet food is available to those who need it and helping those struggling with their pets in this time – all money raised through their Christmas Grand Draw will help support future work.
