The Makers March, a collection of artisans and craft people based along the Scottish borders, Cumbria, North Pennines and Northumberland, will be in attendance with stalls each day.
The Rolling Pub Co will provide a bar in the marquee.
Performers will include the Salvation Army, Cartmell Shepherd Community Choir, Border Concert Band, Carlisle Community Choir. Cumberland Hotshots, The Afternoon Sessions, Marblmoon, The Postcard Band, Cosmic Cat, Daylight Rush and Kontiki Suite.
Councillor Stephen Higgs, portfolio holder for culture, heritage and leisure, said: “The Carlisle Festive Get Together will help bring our community together to celebrate Christmas.
“It’s also a great showcase for local bands and local craftspeople.”
