Long-established business Lakeland Vintners will be helping to get the celebrations started at the Cumbria Food Awards.
The firm is sponsoring the event by providing welcome and table drinks for the gala awards evening, which takes place at Kendal College next March.
Based at Ings, near Windermere, Lakeland Vintners is a fourth generation family-owned firm supplying hotels, restaurants and licensed establishments throughout the Lake District and the North West.
Owned by John Townend, Lakeland Vintners has worked with some of its customers for up to 40 years and is known for its friendly, excellent service. It has its own fleet of delivery vans and the firm’s drivers ensure that everything is handled expertly and arrives on time.
The long-standing and knowledgeable Lakeland Vintners team keeps abreast of emerging trends and changes in the industry to bring its customers the latest products, supplying the best national ranges alongside Cumbrian beer, spirits and drinks.
Account manager Sandy Potts said the firm wanted to back the awards and support its customers, the hospitality industry in Cumbria and Kendal College.
Sandy said: “We’ve worked with the college for a long time and it’s such an honour to be working with the next generation of chefs and hospitality staff coming through. We’re delighted to be involved with the Cumbria Food Awards and to be able to toast everyone on the night.”
